Friday Fun

Today I went to Ikea with Nurse Aimie and Mom. Nurse Aimie is getting a loft in Dallas and she was looking for some new furniture.

Then when we got home Dad was getting ready for the deer lease - you know it is spring turkey season and Dad was very excited.

Then we went to Nana and Oompas house.

Dad left for the lease and I stayed and had dinner with Nana and Oompa and Uncle Charlie, then they left for the lease and Nana and I and Mom just hung out and talked and waited for it to stop raining.

Then we went to TJ Max to get the rest of my towels for my bathroom.

And now it is complete.

I can't wait til I can take a bath in there.

Hold me Hold me

Finally Finally Colton wanted to hold me it took him a few days to warm up to me.

He gave me lots of kisses and hugs and he would look at me a lot but he never wanted to hold me.

But then he did and he was very good at it- he has had lots of practice with his little sister.

He told my mom that I don't move around as much as Aubrey does.

I will one day.

Matching Outfits

So it turns out that my Mom and Aunt Becky are crazy.

They got so excited this morning when they figured out that Aubrey and I had a matching outfit. They decided to dress us up- it was like they were playing with dolls again.

Mine was way too big for me and Aubrey's was a little too small for her but we did look cute.

Hunting the Safari

When dad got home from work last night him and Colton went on a Safari in the back yard.

Colton was looking for some Zebras- he wanted to shoot one with his pop gun.

He had to steady his gun with dads shooting sticks and it worked he got a Zebra- he called in the house on his walkie talkies when he shot something.

Man he has a good shooting stance I think maybe his dad or Pawpaw Denny showed him that- I hope they can teach me one day.

He was looking for a lion but never saw one- maybe next time.

What are you looking at?

Today I went to the doctors.

They pushed on me and pulled on me and held my head and looked in my ears and nose.

When it was all said and done. I gained 2 pounds and 4.5 ounces since birth- that puts me at 8 lb 14.5 oz. I have also grown an inch and half- I am now 21 inches.

So I am doing just great.

They gave me a shot and I did not like that and they also told my mom and dad that I would be getting more on my 2 month visit.

I am glad that is so far off I don't have to think about it for a while.

Museum Visit

We went to this cool museum today- Colton had so much fun- I slept through most of it.

He did a little grocery shopping and Aubrey was helping as well.

Mom was supervising.

He played in the water...

his mom made him wear a smock so he didn't get to wet.

Aunt Becky tried to put away all the grocery I think it was a lost cause.

Lots of Playing

Aubrey looked at me a lot and kept wanting to grab me.

So she did- we had so much fun.

Aunt Becky and Colton played hide and seek.

I am not sure but I think Aunt Becky is trying to hide under my bouncy seat

- not a very good hiding spot if you ask me.

We went to the park several times it was fun. I can't wait til I can swing and play.

Later on Day 2

These are my cousins - Aubrey and Colton.

My cousins Colton liked to just stare at me, he would not hold me though- maybe he needs to get used to me.

Aubrey sat in my high chair- she is so happy all the time-she is always smiling.

Day 2 of the visit

We just hung around the house - Dad went to shoot he is practicing for Africa.

Aubrey and I we were playing with this duck toy.

They Aubrey wanted to arm rassle me, she won man is she strong.

I am sure when I grow up a little I will be able to beat her.

She wouldn't keep her hands off of me.

She was so excited to see me her mom kept telling her to be gentle but it didn't bother me at all.

We had so much fun playing together.

Our First Day!!

So they had sushi from Piranha- I am not sure what this sushi is but my mom sure does like it and so does Aunt Becky. I guess this is some kind of tradition- when Aunt Becky come that is her first meal in Texas.

Then we all read books to Colton.

Everyone was watching me I am not sure what they wanted me to do.

Dad read books to me and Colton.

Then Aunt Becky got her hands on me.

She kept saying how small I am.

I think I am big and am growing everyday.

They are almost here!!

I am so excited my cousins are coming!!!!!!

We are going to have sooooo much fun!!

Dinner with Nana and Oompa Townsend

We went to Red Lobster tonight with Nana and Oompa.

I was getting a little upset during dinner because we had to wait a while to sit down.

But Nana T calmed me down just fine.

Then we came back to the house because I was wide awake and Oompa was testing out his camera you know he is getting ready to go to Africa with dad in a few weeks.

He was taking tons of pics of Nana and I.

Nana was trying to get me to smile and a gave her just few smiles.

Nana was showing me how to use her teacher finger I am going to have to work on that one.

Went to Work with Mom!!

I went to work with mom today because it was Eric's last day- he is moving to Atlanta.

Everyone wanted to hold me and I was OK with that.

Work was fun but I hope mom doesn't go back anytime soon we have so much fun going to lunch with friends and shopping and all kinds of other stuff.

I am getting very excited- my cousins are coming in less than 24 hours.

Bath Time with Daddy

Yesterday I had another lunch date with Nurse Aimie and Zandy and Broddie but Mom forgot to take a picture. I am going to have to get on her about the picture taking.

Then when dad got home he decided to give me a bath. His first time and he did a great job mom was there to supervise but she didn't have to say much.

Dad had it all under control.

He ran me under the faucet and it felt so good.

Then dried me off and put lotion all over me.

Then we did some exercising and I am really working on my neck muscles.

Dad was impressed.

I am also growing out of my diapers, Nurse Aimie said I am ready to move to the next size.

I am also sleeping well last night I slept for 4 hours and mom was so happy when she had to get up with me at 4am and then I slept another 3 hours after that.

Man I like my sleep.

Today I have another lunch date with some of mom's work friends and then we are going to mom's bosses house. We have to get Colton a car seat so he can ride in our car on Saturday.

I am so excited Aubrey and Colton and Aunt Becky are coming on Saturday.

I can hardly stand it. The days wont go by fast enough.
